Delete your account

You can remove your LifeJar account and everything stored with it. The jars on your own phone are separate: deleting the app removes those.

What is deleted

Your account: name, email address, and your Apple or Google sign-in link.
Every jar and entry backed up to your account, including photos and voice clips.
Your share links and membership of shared jars. Jars you shared with other people stay with them, without you in them.

Deleted data is removed from our servers within 30 days. Encrypted backups of the database expire within 30 days after that.

How to ask

Send us a message from the support page choosing "Privacy or my data", from the email address on your account, and say you want your account deleted. We will confirm by email and complete it, normally within a few days.

Deleting your account in the app itself is coming. Until it arrives, the support page is the way to do it.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Apple or Google. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
